As Armada has a growing need for facilities management services for the assets under its management, it is committed to develop more local business to be facilities management services providers. This will be carried out through an incubation programme in collaboration with DARe.
The incubation programme aims to enhance and upgrade the capabilities and competencies of local business in this industry. Armada will provide business opportunities and technical know-how training while DARe will provide training and development through DARe’s existing programmes and initiatives. This collaboration is a result from DARe Links Programme, a business matching platform and linkage programme between Large Companies and MSMEs to bid for contracts.
Through a rigorous selection process, three local companies have been selected to participate in this incubation program. They are Suzana Amin Development Sdn Bhd and HANR Sdn Bhd in the housekeeping services category, while Grocer Local Enterprise is chosen to operate ‘The Korner’, a convenient store at Armada’s Rimba Estate. Armada and DARe are seeking to promote and increase the participation of local business in property and facilities management.
The LBD incubation programme are initiatives that support Armada’s mission of contributing to economic development and nation building through real estate assets and services.
